Bookification Library is a web-to-print workshop concept concerned with digital content presentation and the format of the book. Students are asked to copy the content of singular websites and paste it into layout templates of print-on-demand platforms. The resulting reformattings and reorganisations of content form the basis for a general discussion of topics such as how content is shaped by its container, defaults of word processors and web browsers, digital and analog cultures, as well as web and book time. The resulting books are made public only with an explicit permission by the students that produced them to form a continuing library of web-to-print artifacts that are at the same time research material, found poetry, and documentation of web culture.
